Marly partnered with Nadia Mohamed and her campaign team to craft a compelling brand identity for her historic mayoral run in St. Louis Park. Marly was responsible for designing the campaign logo, selecting the brand colors and symbols, and creating essential materials, including the website, lawn signs, flyers, and direct mailers. Nadia went on to make history as the first Somali-American mayor elected in the United States.

A key feature of Nadia's brand is a white star- creating the dot on the "I" in Nadia's name, inspired by the Somali flag. The five points of the star represent the regions where Somalis reside: British Somaliland, Italian Somaliland, French Somaliland, Ogaden, and northern Kenya. The star symbolizes unity, independence, and resilience—qualities Marly emphasized in the campaign design to reflect Nadia’s ability to unite the diverse voices and concerns of her constituents.

Marly collaborated with Lynette Dumalag and her campaign team to create a cohesive brand identity for Lynette’s city council campaign. Marly designed the campaign logo, selected the brand colors and symbols, and developed key materials, including the website, lawn signs, flyers, and direct mailers. Lynette has now served two terms as City Council person.

A central element of Lynette’s brand is a golden-yellow sun, inspired by the sun in the triangle of the Philippine Flag, which features eight primary rays symbolizing the provinces of the Philippines. Marly chose this symbol to reflect Lynette’s ability to unify the diverse voices and concerns of her constituents across the various neighborhoods of Ward 2 in St. Louis Park.

Marly worked closely with Nichole Klonowski to establish a distinctive brand identity for her successful city council campaign in Brooklyn Park. Marly not only designed the campaign logo but also carefully selected the brand colors and symbols while developing crucial materials, including the website, lawn signs, flyers, and direct mailers. Nichole’s campaign culminated in her election to the City Council of Brooklyn Park.

A defining feature of Nichole's brand is a visual representation of the Mississippi River, which borders Brooklyn Park, symbolizing the city’s deep connection to this powerful natural landmark. Marly integrated this element to reflect Nichole's commitment to bridging the diverse neighborhoods of the city. To capture Nichole's vibrant personality and bold style, Marly introduced Valentino Pink into the campaign's branding, infusing it with energy and a distinctive pop of color that resonated with voters.
